Fixes for Linux Unicode Standard Edition, EeePC Standard Editions and Unicode Professional Edition:
- Fixed corrupted display and program crash when showing list of phrases (E.g. 玲)
- Fixed overlapped display when showing hints on 2 continuous strokes
- Removed duplicated phrases
Fixes for Mac OS X Unicode Standard and Professional Edition:
- Fixed unable to use ] to display phrase list when automatic phrase is disabled
- Updated character data
- Modifed process for IME activation (Professional only)
- Fixed color not changed for >> page switch button
Fixes for Windows Mobile Unicode Professional Edition:
- Fixed black background displayed in composition window for Hi-Res devices
Windows Mobile EasyChinese contacts:
- Fixed display for contacts without name or phone number imported from Windows Live Messenger
Obtaining Updates
Users of products listed can find the update files mentioned in this article in Members Area.
Files downloaded are independent setup files. When you need to re-install the software later, you just need to run the new installation program, installing the old version is not required.
Instruction for installing Windows Mobile IME:
- First restart the device and ensure IME is not opened, then establish ActiveSync connection with desktop computer. Run the exe file downloaded to start installation.
Instruction for installing Windows Mobile EasyChinese Contacts:
- First establish ActiveSync connection with desktop computer, then run the exe file downloaded to start installation.
Instruction for installing Linux IME:
- First set execute permission(+x) on the bin file you downloaded, then run the file. When prompted for action, choose to reinstall IME.
Instruction for installing Mac OS X IME:
- First extract the downloaded zip file to get a dmg file. Then open the dmg file to mount as file system. Run the autorun file in mounted volume to start installation.
- If error displayed when you pressed Install, please open install.mpkg manually in intall directory of mounted volume.
